Description

Our beautiful historic half-timbered house is located at the foot of the Staffelberg, nestled in the wonderful “Gottesgarten” region, in the quiet yet centrally located district of Horsdorf.

Experience the charm of a house built in 1688 in our holiday apartment, combined with modern comforts inside the accommodation itself.

Numerous hiking trails start directly at the house. Mountain bikers, cyclists (Main Valley Cycle Route), and Nordic walking enthusiasts will also find excellent conditions here.

The many lakes in the surrounding area offer a wide range of water sports and swimming opportunities. There is even a SUP and canoe route (the “Yellow Wave”) inviting you to enjoy sporting activities on the River Main.

For relaxation, the Obermain Therme – Bavaria’s warmest and most mineral-rich thermal brine spa – is the perfect place to unwind.

Nearby sights such as Vierzehnheiligen, Staffelberg, and Banz Abbey, as well as the surrounding towns with their castles and palaces, will let you rediscover your holiday destination from a whole new perspective.

Bad Staffelstein (district of Horsdorf) is located directly on the A73 motorway and is therefore very easy to reach by car.

The train station is about 2 km away, and the bus stop is located directly opposite our holiday home.

If you wish to explore the nightlife after a day full of activities, there is plenty to enjoy in the nearby towns and local restaurants.

Franconia is well known for its festivals and celebrations throughout the year, so in our culinary and leisure region you are sure to find an offer that suits your taste.
